1. Information you provide
Families may provide their name, email, phone number, ZIP code, children’s ages, preferred service categories, scheduling preferences, and the messages they send through the platform.
Experts may provide their name, email, phone number, service area, professional background, credentials, references, and materials used to verify identity and eligibility to work with children.
You may also provide account credentials, profile details, and any information you choose to include in messages, reviews, or support requests.
2. Information we collect automatically
When you use KidsRoster we collect basic technical information such as device type, browser, IP address, pages visited, and referring URLs. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the marketplace is used and to improve it.
3. How we store and secure your information
Personal information is stored on secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest. Access to production data is limited to authorized personnel and protected by role-based access controls and audit logs.
No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data using reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
4. Payment information
KidsRoster does not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Payments are processed by trusted third-party payment processors (such as Stripe) that are certified under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Your card details are provided directly to the processor; we receive only the limited information needed to complete a transaction (for example, the last four digits, transaction ID, and status).
5. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate the marketplace and match families with appropriate experts;
- Verify identity and eligibility of experts, including background screening;
- Process bookings, payments, and payouts;
- Send transactional messages, service updates, and support responses;
- Protect the safety, security, and integrity of the platform;
- Comply with our legal obligations.
6. Sharing your information
We share personal information only as needed to run the marketplace: with the family or expert you are transacting with, with vetted service providers (payments, background checks, hosting, email delivery, analytics) acting on our behalf, and where required by law.
KidsRoster does not sell your personal information.
7. Cookies
KidsRoster uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve the product. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices.
8. Children’s privacy
KidsRoster is intended for use by adults. Accounts are created and managed by parents, guardians, and expert professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Any information about a child is provided by a parent or guardian for the purpose of matching with an expert.
9. Your choices and rights
You may review or update your account information at any time from your profile. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@kidsroster.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe consistent with applicable law. Certain information may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
